Imagine moving into an apartment and finding a nice $12,000 in the refrigerator. Well this came true for a couple who just moved into there new apartment. Janesville, Wis. there is a lucky couple. They are hoping they can keep the money. No one has called to claim the cash yet. The couple were asked what they would do with the money they both agreed to spend it on the bills.
The previous renters were charges with drug trafficking so there is a chance that they might not be able to keep the cash.
Man i wish i could have moved in and find the cash in a refrigerator like that. My luck is that there will be bills to be paid or the refrigerator wont work than i have to buy a new one.
What do you guys think since they found it, the cash should be theres right?????

I SURE THE HELL WOULDN'T HAVE TURNED THE MONEY IN. MY HUSBAND FOUND 300.00 ONCE WHERE HE WAS WORKING, TURNED IT IN AND THE MANAGERS SPLIT THE MONEY.
ONLY IF I KNEW WHO THE MONEY BELONGED TO I WOULD GIVE IT BACK, BUT OTHER WISE SORRY THEY ARE SHIT OUT OF LUCK.
They should lose it for being so stupid to tell anyone about it. Our gov't will certainly find a way to confiscate it.
I think they should get to keep it. Honesty is the best policy, but I bet the cops will take the money.
I'm of the same mind as the rest of you. That money will never get to the original owners, who probably didn't earn it legally, anyway.
If they wish, they could make it do some good and donate a portion to a charity, but otherwise......
