In Pineville Ky $38 dollars is what a sheriff deputy and his k-9 companion lost there lives over. Teenagers in a car fled Exxon after not paying for the gas that they pumped. Led police on a chase the chase came to an end after striking a parked police car killing the deputy and his k-9 inside. Sad thing one of the fellow deputies who knew this officer since a young age held his hand while his friend his partner died. This sickens the hell out of me. The two teenagers inside of course walks away with minor injuries. They need to be charged and never see the light of day again. The driver was 17 and the passenger was 16. What the hell were these kids thinking. Stealing gas than leading police on a chase than killing a deputy and his k-9. These kids knew what they were doing and understood the results. I cant believe it is all over $38 dollars. But you know what gets me angry these kids will be jailed for only so long and than be back on the streets.
Well what do you guys think?????

Hmmm. Tough one. You will remember the ages of the boys in the recent accident here. They were good kids who made an error in judgement. HOWEVER, they did not make that error after committing a crime and leading the police on a chase. The kids here were honor students, involved in sports and they both came from good families. What were those kids like? Have they had chance after chance? Two weeks ago, I would have said lock em up and throw away the key. Now? I don't know. Maybe someone's else's opinion can halp me.
